GoogleEarth is probably old news to most of you, but I found it fascinating to revisit places I vacationed in Europe years ago.  I found the house [roof] of friends in a little mountain town in the Alps.  Kind of scary vis a vis privacy as a concept.

The other two apps I tried to download didn't show up on the IPad.  However, I could access them anyway.  Christine D. explained to me that this meant that they were already downloaded once onto the device and then removed...so the icon is no longer there but the access is.

Also, I looked for WeatherKitten app multiple ways but couldn't find it.  Meredith tells me that it might not be available on iOS devices.

Okay,  I've spent a few hours learning tips and tricks on an IPad.  Problem is I don't own one and now I think it's pretty cool.  Maybe my next task will be setting up a crowdfunding site for myself:)
